Naira Marley Court case reopen Next Month.
The Naira Marley court case trial with the Economic Financial & Crimes Commission (EFCC) resumes next month.
The singer who was released on the 14th of June 2019, exactly 14 days after his bail was granted by the Ikoyi High court is to appear before the court come next month.
If you can recall, Naira Marley was arrested by the EFCC alongside Zlatan and three others in connection with cyber crime fondly called yahoo yahoo.
The trial however resumes in a month time as Naira Marley needs to answer all the charges leveled against him by the anti-graft commission.
Economic Financial Crime Commission, EFCC leveled an 11-count charges against him. The alleged crimes were in contravention of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act and the Cyber Crimes Act, in which the artiste is in risks of seven years in jail if found guilty.
The charges with suit number FHC/L/178C/19 were filed before a Lagos State High Court 10 days after his arrest, Naira Marley was arraigned before Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos.
If Naira Marley is found guilty of the charges leveled against him by EFCC, there is strong possibility of him being sentence to jail for seven years.
I think the Marlians needs to start praying for him as he is on the verge of going to jail for some years if found guilty come next month.
